Welcome to My Wedding! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service Wedding is a digital platform designed to help users plan and organise their weddings. Our core features include:

• A central Wedding Dashboard with a countdown, calendar, and task summaries.

• An AI-Powered Checklist Tool for personalised task suggestions. - currently under development

• Tools for managing vendors, guest lists, digital invitations, and RSVPs.

• A budgeting tool for setting budgets and tracking expenses.

The Service is provided as a planning aid and is not a substitute for professional wedding planning or financial advice 

2. User Accounts

• Registration: To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

3. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for all data, text, photos, and other information ("Content") that you upload, post, or otherwise make available through the Service. This includes guest lists, budget details, vendor information, and personal notes.

By providing Content to the Service, you grant My Wedding a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display such Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service for you. You retain all ownership rights to your Content 

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or share any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

• Violate the privacy or data protection rights of others.

• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with a person or entity.

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our computer systems.

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Subscription Plans and Fees

• Free and Premium Plans: My Wedding may offer both free and paid subscription plans. Features and usage limits may vary between plans. For example, our free plan may have a limit on the number of weddings you can create.

• Upgrades: You may choose to upgrade to a premium plan to access additional features or remove limitations.

• Payment: All fees for premium plans are payable in accordance with the payment terms in effect at the time the fee becomes payable. We use a third-party payment processor to handle transactions.

• Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription plans or adjust pricing for our services at any time.

6. AI-Powered Features

Our Service utilises artificial intelligence (AI) to provide tailored suggestions, such as checklist items. You acknowledge that these suggestions are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs. My Wedding is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations 

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including for a violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Wedding shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of  Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
